Privacy notice
ArtisDomus processes as little personal data as it can. Below is what artisdomus.com and the practice’s email process, why, for how long, and what rights you have.
Who is responsible
The controller is Polina Surina, trading as ArtisDomus, Bernadottestrasse 6, 14193 Berlin, Germany. For anything about your data, write to [email protected]. The full details are in the legal notice.
When you visit the website
The hosting provider delivers each page and keeps short technical logs to do so and to protect the website from attack. A log entry holds your network (IP) address, the time, the address requested and the name of your browser. ArtisDomus does not combine these logs with any other data. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in running a secure website, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The logs are deleted when the hosting provider’s retention period ends.
Measurement
The website uses no analytics cookies, no advertising trackers and no social media plug-ins.
Your device
The website sets no cookies. If you switch between the light and the dark theme, your choice is kept in your browser’s local storage under the name ad-theme, so that the next page opens the same way. You can delete it in your browser at any time.
When you write to the practice
If you write to [email protected], your message and address are used to answer you and, if an engagement follows, to prepare it. The legal basis is steps taken at your request before a contract, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, and the legitimate interest in answering correspondence, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Messages are kept for as long as the enquiry or the engagement needs, and for the periods that commercial and tax law require.
Who else receives data
These providers process data on behalf of ArtisDomus: Vercel Inc. (hosting and delivery), Cloudflare, Inc. (domain name service) and Google (email, through Google Workspace). Some of them process data outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers rely on an adequacy decision of the European Commission or on standard contractual clauses.
Data Nexus Technologies Services FZ-LLC, Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone, United Arab Emirates, builds and maintains the website for ArtisDomus as a processor, under a data processing agreement. Until the website moves to accounts held by ArtisDomus, its hosting with Vercel runs on the account of Data Nexus. Data Nexus works on the website’s systems remotely from the United Arab Emirates.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, for its correction or erasure, for restriction of processing and for a copy in a portable format. You can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to [email protected]. You can also complain to a supervisory authority, for example the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit).
